મહાવીર કુંવર નાનો રે, ઝુલે છે સોનાને પારણે, ત્રિશલાનો જાયો રે, ઝુલે છે રૂપાને પારણે સોના કેરૂં પારણું ને, હીરલાની દોર છે, એ ઝુલણીયે ઝુલનાર રે, ઝુલે છે... ત્રિશલા કહે છે વીરા, અહિંસા ધર્મ પાળજે, અહિંસાનો અવતાર રે, ઝુલે છે... ધર્મ શિક્ષક થઈને વીરા, કૂખ ઉજાળજે, પ્રેમનો પૂજારી રે, ઝુલે છે... દુ:ખીયા જીવોને, કર્મોથી ઉગારજે, કર્મોને ખપાવનાર રે, ઝુલે છે... પ્રાણીમાત્ર પર, દયા ભાવ રાખજે, દયાનો દાતાર રે, ઝુલે છે... જૈન શાસનની વીરા, જ્યોતિ બની રહેજે, જ્યોતિ ઝલકાવનાર રે, ઝુલે છે... લહેરથી પોઢે વીરા, ત્રિશલા ઝુલાવે, પારણિયે પોઢનાર રે, ઝુલે છે...

The nursery rhyme is being sung by baby Mahavir's mother Trishla. As all mothers would, Mother Trishlā lovingly advises the baby to obey the jain principles of Ahinsa, and explain the principles of Karma and Compassion to the world. Jain devotees sing this lullaby on Mahavir Jayanti and Mahavir Janma Vānchan Day celebrations.
