chho ne mārā tambūrānā, thāy chūre chūrā, toye tārā bhajan, rahe nā adhūrā...(2)
divas ne rāt hun, gāvu chhun gīt tārā, vaheti nirantar jevī, nadīnī dhārā,
chho ne nahi uranā bhāvo, pragate pūrepūrā. toye... tanane tambūre mārā, ātamanā tār bāndhu, tujamā hun līn thai, sūrani samādhi sādhu, chho ne mārā gīt ho, sūrīlā ke besūrā. toye... tute tambūro bhale, tūțe sau tār,
toye na khuțe eno, mitho raṇakar, chho ne ā jaganā loko, kahe bhalābūrā. toye...
Like a flowing river, the poet wishes to continue singing Bhagwan's praise no matter what hurdles come in his way. Even though his songs may not be right or his voice may not be perfect, but his soul is pure and devotion for Bhagwān is real.
